Guess what day it is????

yeah, yeah, I know... "Bad Erika." No posts in an outrageously long time. Awful. I've got so much catching up to do it's overwhelming. Bad, bad Erika. I'm slapping my wrists as I type. I've got pics galore, many many more weekend festivals to fill you in on, and a gripe or two more about Seattlites yet to blog (who would have guessed??).

HOWEVER, that is all going to have to wait for two reasons. #1 it is simply way too daunting to have to face all of that at once - the 7 or 8 draft posts saved in this account will prove this point easily. #2 and FAR more importantly.......

It's . . . . GAMEDAY!!!!!!

Nothing can stop me today - I am so pumped!!! I'm sporting my gold ramblin' wreck shirt and practically marched all the way to my bus stop this morning (da-dadada-da-dadada-da-GO-ja-KETS....) trying to keep my fist from shooting up in the air (da-dadada-da-dadada-da-GO-ja-KETS....) almost peed my pants when a girl stopped me to ask where elliot ave was I was so engulfed in my own parade (da-dadada-da-dadada-da-GO-ja-KETS, FIGHT, WIN!!!!!).

This continued until I made it to my stop where I wondered if there were any other yellow jackets - I looked around at the other softies....nope. Definitely not. But then again maybe their just not awake yet - but HELLOOOO it's GAMEDAY!!! I thought about yelling it once I got on the bus "GAMEDAY!!", but alas I was pretty sure there were no other marching yellow jackets on here and therefore rather than hearing the intoxicating roars of "GAMEDAY"'s in reply, I was sure it would be greeted with stranger stares than normal. But then again - I would almost surely be guaranteed a seat alone for the rest of the year....Hmmmm.....perhaps on the way home today ;)

ps-ironically our season opener is against jack state - so sorry Mr. Tyndall, Kelly Walsh, and Meghan Panepento - all band alliances are off - we're gonna squash those gamecocks tonight!!! Let's go tech!!! :)
