Just in case any of you are listening to all of the MS news.... They have announced 5,000 job cuts, 1,400 which will happen today and they have also emphasized that HR will definitely be hit.... but still no more details than that.
I'll keep you posted in between panic attacks.

I just read on cnn.com that MS was having layoffs. Of course, I thought of you and immediately went to your blog to see if you mentioned it, and you had! I pray that your position will be secure. Even if you are ok, it's still not easy to watch coworkers lose their jobs. I've been through it before, and it's really tough. I'm thinking of you.

Thanks guys - I've been told I'm safe - I'll have a slight change in reporting structure and future projects, but I am sooo thankful to still have a job.
